Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company Coffee

The idea behind developing this brand was simple; create high quality coffee and contribute to environmental issues and community events that directly impact the health of our regional treasure, The Chesapeake Bay. In keeping with those core ideas, The Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company (CBRC) was established in January of 2002. CBRC is made up of a small team of people that are passionate about 3 things: producing great tasting coffee, supporting the environment and having fun doing while doing it.  We currently have the following coffee available in our store...

ECO-REEF- A USDA Certified Organic Blend of coffees from Central & South America and Indonesia. Medium Roasted. Produces a medium bodied cup with pleasant acidity and a smooth finish.

CBRC chose to team up with the Oyster Recovery Partnership (ORP) with the shared goal of restoring oysters to the Chesapeake Bay. A portion of the sales from this coffee is donated to ORP.

DECAFFEINATED ECO-REEF-  A USDA Certified Organic Blend of coffees from South America and Indonesia. Medium Roasted. Swiss Water™ decaffeination utilizes charged water to wash away coffee’s caffeine. This process is all-natural and chemical free. Produces a medium bodied cup with pleasant acidity and a smooth finish.

RIVER'S EDGE- A USDA Certified Organic Blend of coffees from Central America, Africa and Indonesia. Medium-Dark Roasted. Produces a full bodied cup with a bold taste and light acidity.

A portion of the sales from this coffee is allocated to our H2O Initiative.

CATTAIL- A USDA Certified Organic Blend of coffees from Central & South America and Indonesia. Dark Roasted. Produces a full bodied cup with strong aroma, deep smoky notes and a smooth, balanced finish. Also delivers an espresso with exceptional body, accented with creamy caramel notes.

Lighthouse - A USDA Certified Organic Blend of coffees from Central & South America and Africa. Light Roasted. Produces a light bodied cup with bright aroma, floral notes and hints of slightly sweet citrus.

Oyster Reef- A blend of coffees from South America and Indonesia. Medium Roasted. Produces a medium bodied cup with dynamic brightness and a smooth, balanced finish. Oyster Reef was the first coffee blend developed by CBRC and still a top seller!

Capital City - A blend of coffees from South America and Indonesia. Dark Roasted. Produces a full bodied cup with bold notes, mild acidity and a smoky finish.
